Julia is a suspect as junior business partner and heir of real estate billionaire Bill Winston, who was fatally shot in his office while signing papers which lawyer Larry Hopkins says he was waiting to collect.

Caine then orders inmate Oscar Monahan to protect Kyle from inside the jail. The police discover the cellphone that detonated the bomb that killed Monahan under his jail bunk. Harmon tells Horatio Caine that he didn't know about the cellphone.
However, after Caine examines the phone he realizes that Harmon lied. After being questioned again by his father, Harmon admits that Joe LeBrock gave him the cellphone, and that he has been trying to find his mother with it. He still denies detonating the bomb. The actual bomber is discovered, but won't testify for fear of what will happen to him in jail. Harmon is released back to prison. Harmon's mother, Julia Winston formerly Eberly , is the suspect in a murder investigation.
She meets back up with Kyle, who is happy to see her. The key witness in Harmon's trial disappears, which Lt. Caine believes was orchestrated by Julia. The court is given no choice but to drop all charges against Harmon. However, Julia and Horatio filed separate custody suits for Kyle, and Kyle is forced to choose one.

I think this episode is the best, I love Evan Ellingson Kyle He is an amazing actor, he was great in Complete Savages and now he is in CSI Miami the best show around, I think that Haratio having a son is great news, this episode is defiantly my favorite, It was a great start out for season 6.
It defiantly is going to want people to keep watching to see what happens, I think Evan Ellingson will give the show a lot more female viewers consider most of the guest star guys are not very hot, and there are always beautiful girls in this show. I will defiantly watch season 6 if all of the episodes are going to be this good. CSI Miami is the best CSI there is because really it has the best color and Miami is such a beautiful place, I really believe that this episode will keep viewers watching to find out what will happen to Kyle.
